Warm the room
you’re actually sitting in.
Heatomi is a portable ceramic heater: the element starts giving off heat within seconds and the fan spreads it through the whole room. Two heat settings, a timer and a remote control. No installation — plug it in, switch it on and carry it to whichever room you’re spending the evening in.
Why heat one room
Heating the whole house
for a single room
The heat goes into empty rooms
The furnace warms the bedrooms, the hallway and the spare room while you’re sitting in the living room. You’re paying to heat space nobody is in.
It takes a while to warm up
Baseboards and radiators heat slowly. Come home to a cold room and you sit there in your coat waiting for the warmth to reach you.
Thermostat or heavy sweater
Turn it up and the bill goes up. Leave it down and you’re cold. Neither option feels like much of a choice in January.
In a rental you can’t change anything
The building’s heating isn’t yours to alter, and usually you’re not allowed to. You need something that needs no installation and comes with you when you move.
Who it suits
Heatomi is for you
if you…
Spend your evenings in one room but heat the whole place
Work from home and only need the home office warm during working hours
Rent your apartment and can’t change the building’s heating
Have one room that’s always colder than the rest
Want to take the chill off the bathroom in the morning or the bedroom before bed
Feel the cold more than everyone else and would rather not argue over the thermostat
Want something that works straight out of the box, with no electrician and no manual to learn
Need extra heat in a basement, workshop or garage for part of the year
How it works
Ceramic element and fan
Heatomi uses a ceramic PTC element that heats up within seconds, and a fan that pushes the heat out into the room instead of letting it sit around the unit. Operating it comes down to three buttons — power, heat setting and timer — and the same functions are on the remote, so you can change the settings from the couch or from bed without getting up.
Plug it in
An ordinary wall outlet is all it needs. No installation, no app, no electrician
Choose the heat setting
Two settings: gentle top-up heat in a cool room, or full output on a properly cold day
Set the timer
30, 60 or 90 minutes, after which the heater switches itself off
Features
What’s in the heater
and what it does
Ceramic PTC element
The element starts giving off heat within seconds, unlike an oil-filled radiator that needs time to warm through. How quickly the room follows depends on its size, the insulation and the starting temperature.
Two heat settings
The lower setting is enough to keep a cool room comfortable; the higher one is for warming a genuinely cold room. Pick to suit the situation rather than running it flat out all the time.
Timer for 30, 60 or 90 minutes
Set the time and the heater switches itself off. It’s the most useful function in the evening: the room warms up, you drop off, and the heater isn’t still running in the morning.
Remote control
Power, heat setting and timer from the remote, from anywhere in the room. Not having to get off the couch to adjust it matters more than it sounds.
Tip-over and overheat protection
According to the seller the heater switches off automatically if it falls over, and a thermal cut-out stops the power if it overheats. The cut-outs are not a substitute for careful use — see the safety section below.
Light and portable
Thanks to the carry handle it goes to the bathroom in the morning, the home office during the day and the living room in the evening. One heater warms one room at a time.
Where the saving comes from
The honest version
of the heating bill
A heater doesn’t make electricity cheaper
A kilowatt hour costs the same whichever appliance uses it. The ceramic element heats up faster than an oil-filled radiator, but that doesn’t change your electricity rate and it doesn’t create heat out of nothing.
The saving comes from what you stop heating. If you turn the furnace or the baseboards down and warm only the room you’re actually sitting in, the volume being heated drops — and the bill drops with it. It’s usually called zone heating, and a portable heater is a sensible tool for doing it.
If instead you leave the furnace where it is and add the heater on top, your consumption goes up. There’s a second thing worth knowing: if your home runs on a natural gas furnace, you’re swapping gas for electricity, and in most of the country a therm of gas delivers heat more cheaply than electric resistance does. Zone heating can still come out ahead if you turn the furnace down far enough, but it isn’t automatic — the answer depends on your own gas and electric rates.
Where people use it
One heater,
a different room through the day
Home office
Under the desk in the morning, off when the working day ends.
Living room
Next to the couch for the evening, without warming the whole house.
Bedroom
Timer on before bed, so the room has time to warm up.
Bathroom
A few minutes before a shower — on a dry spot, well away from water.
Safety
An electric heater is safe,
when it’s used properly
The heater’s own cut-outs are a good foundation, but most incidents involving space heaters come down to how they’re used, not to the appliance. This applies to any portable heater.
Leave clear space around it
The NFPA advises three feet of clearance on every side: keep furniture, curtains, bedding and paper away from it. Never cover it, and never use it to dry clothing.
Straight into the outlet
No extension cord and no power strip. Space heaters draw a high current, and the Electrical Safety Foundation International advises plugging them directly into a wall outlet.
Use the timer
The NFPA and the CPSC advise turning a portable heater off when you leave the room or go to bed. The timer takes care of switching it off for you.
Check the listing mark
Electric heaters sold in the United States are normally listed by a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory such as UL or Intertek (ETL). Check the marking on the unit.
Children and pets
Put it somewhere it can’t be knocked over. Tip-over protection is a backstop, not permission to leave it anywhere.
Read the manual
Follow the instructions that come with the heater. They take precedence over this general advice.
Customer experiences
What users say
Reviews published on the seller’s official website, quoted word for word. Experiences are individual and depend on the size of the room, the insulation and how the heater is used.
The timer is the bit that sold me
“I set 90 minutes when I get into bed and I’m asleep long before it clicks off. Sleeping properly again, which is not something I expected to say about a heater.”
My back room is finally usable
“Small room at the back, always freezing, I’d been avoiding working in there all winter. Sat in there in a t-shirt writing this 🔥”
Wasn’t sure at first
“Didn’t think something this size would do much, our living room is fairly big and I thought it would get lost in there. Warm in about ten minutes and we haven’t had the central heating on in the evening since. Glad I was wrong.”
way better than our old fan heater
“The old one was loud, smelled like burning dust and cost a fortune to run. this is quiet, feels more even, and the timer means it’s never left on by accident. only thing is i should have bought two to start with. ordered a second one a couple of weeks later.”

guarantee
Try it in your own room
How quickly a room warms up depends on its size, its insulation and its windows — and there’s no way to know in advance other than trying it. Every order comes with the 30-day money-back guarantee set out in the seller’s official terms: if the heater isn’t right for you, contact customer service within 30 days of receiving your order to arrange the return and refund. Worth knowing: there is no federal cooling-off period for online purchases in the United States — the FTC Cooling-Off Rule covers sales made at your home or away from the seller’s place of business, not website orders — so the 30-day return is the seller’s own commitment. The full terms are on the official sales page.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
How can a portable heater cut my heating bill?
A heater does not make electricity cheaper: a kilowatt hour costs the same whichever appliance uses it. The saving comes from what you stop heating. If you turn the furnace or baseboards down and warm only the room you are actually sitting in, the heated volume drops and the bill drops with it. If you leave the furnace where it is and add the heater on top, your consumption goes up.
How quickly does Heatomi warm a room?
The ceramic element starts giving off heat within seconds and the fan spreads it through the room. According to the seller, a typical bedroom, home office or living room feels warm in a few minutes. The real time depends on the size of the room, the insulation, the windows and the starting temperature.
Is Heatomi easy to set up?
Yes. Plug it into an ordinary wall outlet, press the power button and choose the heat setting and, if you want, the timer. There is nothing to install and no electrician needed.
How does the remote control work?
The remote turns the heater on and off, changes the heat setting and sets the timer to 30, 60 or 90 minutes from anywhere in the room.
What safety features does it have?
According to the seller the heater has tip-over protection that switches it off if it falls, and overheat protection that cuts the power and resets once the unit has cooled. These cut-outs are not a substitute for careful use: keep three feet of clearance around the heater as the NFPA advises, never cover it, do not run it from an extension cord or power strip, and follow the instruction manual.
Is it UL or ETL listed?
Electric heaters sold in the United States are normally tested and listed by a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory such as UL or Intertek (ETL), and retailers generally require that marking. This page does not import or test the product, so check the listing mark shown on the seller’s official product page and on the unit itself before you use it. If the marking is missing or you are unsure, ask the seller in writing before ordering.
Can I leave the heater on overnight?
We would not recommend it. The NFPA reports that heating equipment is a leading cause of home fires, and both the NFPA and the Consumer Product Safety Commission advise turning portable heaters off when you leave the room or go to bed. Use the timer instead: set 30, 60 or 90 minutes before you go to bed, so the room warms up and the heater switches itself off. Always follow the instruction manual supplied with the product.
How noisy is Heatomi?
The heater has a fan, so it makes a steady hum. According to the seller it is quiet enough for a bedroom. No fan heater is truly silent; if you want complete quiet, an oil-filled radiator is quieter but takes much longer to warm up.
How many rooms will one heater warm?
One room at a time. It is light and has a carry handle, so it can be moved from room to room through the day. Warming several rooms at once takes several heaters.
Will there be sales tax or import charges?
Sales tax depends on your state and is calculated by the seller at checkout. The seller ships the order itself, and if a parcel comes from outside the United States, duty and a carrier handling fee can also apply on delivery. Whether any of that is already included in the price shown is stated by the seller on its official order page, not on this page. Check it before you complete the order.
What if the product is not right for me?
According to the seller’s official terms there is a 30-day money-back guarantee. Contact customer service within 30 days of receiving your order to arrange the return and refund under the seller’s returns policy. Worth knowing: there is no federal cooling-off period for online purchases in the United States. The FTC Cooling-Off Rule covers sales made at your home or away from the seller’s place of business, not orders placed on a website, so the 30-day return is the seller’s own commitment. Some states also require sellers to post their return policy, and a few give extra rights, so read the seller’s terms before ordering.
